Prudential Center tix for Harlem Globetrotters this Friday still available for $25 and up

The Harlem Globetrotters, the world-famous exhibition basketball team, will bring their 2016-2017 tour to the Prudential Center this Friday, February 17th, at 7 p.m.
The Globetrotters are renowned for their eye-popping, innovative and interactive shows, and incorporate basketball fundamentals and even elements of theater and comedy into their performances. In November 2016, the team set nine Guinness World Records–in a single day.
Operating outside of the rules of professional basketball, they’ve been an incubator, over the years, for some of the elements that have made their way into the mainstream game–including the slam dunk. This past December, the Globetrotters added a new innovation into the mix: a four-point line that is active the entire game. This “long-range” shooting line will be located a full 30 feet from the basket. For perspective, the three-point line is located more than six feet closer, at 23 feet, nine inches.
(According to a statement by the Globetrotters organization about the new line, 43 percent of 3-point marksman Steph Curry’s shots in the 2015-2016 NBA season would have qualified for four-point status based on their distance from the basket, and 72 percent of fans want to see the line incorporated in NBA games.)
Immediately post-game, the Globetrotters will stay behind for autographs and photos for fans. Available tickets start at $25 on Ticketmaster.com.
