Hahne & Company
Whole Foods Market opened in a renovated Hahne’s building on March 1st of this year. In the photo above, captured in November 2016, both Whole Foods and the Hahne’s building itself were well on their way to completion.
Broad and New Streets
This block was once home to the long-vacant S. Klein building. It is now the location of a Blaze Pizza, Starbucks, Nike Store (out of frame) and, as of earlier this year, Wok 2 Walk.
One block south, the new Prudential Tower now stands.
From Park Place, a view of Military Park before and after its $3 million renovation, which was completed in 2014.
Hotel Indigo debuted at the corner of Broad Street and Edison Place, also in 2014. The boutique hotel features Alva Tavern on the ground floor and Skylab, a rooftop bar with views of Newark and Manhattan.
The mixed-use Teacher’s Village development is making over the southern end of Halsey Street. It features residences, retail, and a charter school.
