South Ward Community Schools, The Newark Trust for Education and Metis Associates are hosting “Success For the South Ward: What Does It Mean To You,” a series of public meetings to discuss issues affecting the community and schools of the South Ward.
Each of the three meetings are designed to provide an opportunity for educators, parents, and other community members to share their idea of what success means for the schools and surrounding community. The organizers will be seeking input for the design of the second phase of an evaluation study being conducted by the South Ward Community Schools Initiative, a collective of educators and community members working to support the area and its schools.
