Free ‘Dead of Winter’ bash to celebrate Newark’s urban farmers

Urban farming is a quickly growing trend in cities across the country, and Newark is no exception.
To help recognize Brick City’s commitment to this thriving movement, Newark Community Food System, in conjunction with the Whole Cities Foundation, and Urban Agriculture Cooperative are hosting the “Dead Of Winter Farmer’s Bash: Urban Farmers’ 2019 Winter Kickoff Party” on February 8, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Hahne & Co. building atrium at 50 Halsey Street.
