Catch the K-Wave at the Newark Museum’s Second Sunday

Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month on May 13 at the Newark Museum with Second Sunday activities exploring the breadth of K-Wave culture from K-Pop to K-Food to K-Fashion, with inspiration from the Museum’s Arts of Asia collection. Activities will take place from noon to 5 pm and are free with Museum admission. The Museum is located at 49 Washington St., Newark.
Second Sunday event highlights include:
Korean pop music factory with workshops and live performances.
K-Fashion with hands-on workshops and presentations.
Korean cuisine presented in a live K-Food cooking demo.
Workshop on K-Beauty skin care regimens.
Korean nail art inspired by the Korean art collection.
A discussion on the state of K-Wave and the future of this global movement with influencers from various areas of Korean culture.
MakerSPACE drop-ins, gallery tours, planetarium shows and more.
