Former Newark Deputy Major Baye Adofo-Wilson joins New Jersey law firm Rainone Coughlin Minchello

Former City of Newark Deputy Mayor and Director of Economic and Housing Development (EHD), Baye Adofo-Wilson has joined Rainone Coughlin Minchello Attorneys at Law based out of Iselin, New Jersey. In his new role, Adofo-Wilson will focus on redevelopment projects in urban areas throughout the state.
When he was still working with the city, Adofo-Wilson project managed two significant downtown redevelopment park projects: Mulberry Commons, a three-acre park in Newark’s Downtown and Riverfront Park, a three-mile long park along the Passaic River. As the Director of EHD, Adofo-Wilson supervised the housing, property management, real estate, economic development and planning and zoning divisions.
Prior to joining the Baraka administration, Adofo-Wilson taught at Harvard University and was Loeb Fellow. He led the revitalization of Newark’s Lincoln Park neighborhood as the founder and executive director of Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD).
