Global financial technology firm will move one thousand jobs to 2 Gateway Center
by Brick City Live Staff/February 28, 2017
2 Gateway Center will soon have a brand new corporate tenant.
Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. has signed a long-term lease with C&K Properties for approximately 160,000 square feet of office space in the building.
In November, 2 Gateway Center announced that high-speed fiber would be coming to the building via the “Newark Fiber” initiative. Broadridge, a global financial tech (“fintech”) company that provides both technology and managed services solutions to a broad spectrum of financial services firms, was drawn to the building in part due to its technological connectivity and transportation access, according to a statement about the new offices.
One thousand Broadridge employees will relocate to the Newark office.
In 2016, 2 Gateway made cosmetic improvements to its lobby area and concourse, which recently became home to NJTV’s live studio, The Gateway Project art gallery, and Cotidiano café and coffee bar.
2 Gateway recently was the first building in the state to receive WiredScore’s Platinum certification, which indicates best-in-class status in terms of a building’s fiber connectivity, uptime and ability to connect tenants to the internet.
