The Society of Professional Journalists’ New Jersey Chapter announced winners of its 2017 Excellence in Journalism Awards for work completed in 2016, and BrickCityLive.com won first place in the Independent Blog category.
Winning publications will be honored during a June 25th brunch at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, where WBGO news director Doug Doyle will be master of ceremonies. Tickets for the brunch cost $20 and can be purchased online.
